Just Between Friends

Incase you missed the first post, here it is again.

From the website, "These are not retail stores but rather savings extravaganzas--shopping events that happen usually twice a year per location. At these events, consignors bring their new and gently-used children's and maternity merchandise to sell. Shoppers can then browse and purchase these items at great savings, usually far below retail prices."

Basically JBF sales are like giant fancy yard sales with only the best merchandise, no stains, rips, holes, etc. and they accept credit cards! There are departments, all the clothes have tags with bar codes and your purchases are scanned at the check out.  Its just like a store. 

You can be involved with the JBF sale in a variety of ways. 

• The first and probably the easiest is being a shopper. 
• A consignor where you can earn 65% of what your item sell for, you can also volunteer to help and earn an additional 5% plus as a consignor you can go to the presale. 
• Volunteer which get you into the presale.

My favorite aspect of JBF...Valet Tagging!!!  Basically you just drop your items off and volunteers will price, tag, everything!  You will get 50% of the money and you can still volunteer for the extra 5% and even if you valet tag you get to go the presale as well!
