Old Navy’s Operation Care and Comfort Military Event 2010, July 1-5

In order to honor the men and women who put their lives on the line fighting for freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan, Old Navy is partnering with Operation Care and Comfort to collect everyday items (tees, flip flops, socks, etc) to create care packages for the troops, which will be sent to them overseas.

• The event will take place from Thursday 7/1-Monday 7/5.
• Our goal is to provide every military member serving overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan with a flag tee and a pair of flip flops!

Old Navy in Springfield, Pa. is looking for military and community support for this event. We are looking for:

• Volunteers from the military to attend our event and greet customers or ask them if they would be interested in writing a letter to the troops.
• Military vehicles that could be put on display for the day for customers to admire or take a tour of.
• Community members to help us put the word out for our event, through friends and family.
