      Activities All Weekend:

      Hayrides & Pumpkin Land at Linvilla

      Great Pumpkin Carve in Chadds Ford...this event is awesome!

      Saturday:

      Harvest Festival at Reading Terminal Market 10-4, this is where we are hoping to go.

      Halloween Spooktacular at Borders

      Dress up in Dreams at the Disney Store. There is a limit of 50 kids per session.

      Family Fun Day at Shipley Shops admission is free, there will be food and crafts for kids, and the shopping is FANTASTIC.

      LEGO Bricktober (12-2) at Toys R Us.

      Freedom Playground (Haverford) Grand Opening

      Ghost Tours Colonial Plantation in Ridley Creek State Park 6-10PM...not really for young kids or adults who are big babies like myself.

      Pumpkin Party at Tyler Arboretum

      The Ultimate Philadelphia Ice Cream Festival-July 17

      Saturday, July 17, 10am-4pm, Center Court of the Reading Terminal Market.

      Hosted by Bassetts Ice Cream, the event will also include:
      –The delicious ice cream that has made Bassetts Ice Cream famous for more than a century!
      –Homemade ice cream from Miller’s Twist (made right in Center Court during the event)
      –Delicious flavors from Uncle Dave’s Homemade Ice Cream
      –Ice cream and rootbeer floats from Franklin Fountain
      –Ice cream cupcakes from Bredenbeck’s Bakery and Ice Cream Parlor
      –Ice cream made with milk from Kreider Dairy Farms own cows in Lancaster County
      –And introducing Pure Gourmet sorbets! Don’t miss the presentation by famed Chef Georges Perrier about these delicious new sorbets.

      The event also features arts and crafts for the kids, live music, games, and more! WHYY will be on-hand with giveaways and Clifford the Big Red Dog to round out the fun. It’s an event too sweet to miss!
