What a coincidence that I read this post today, which is my wedding anniversary. My husband and I have past by Seasons 52 and have wanted to try it out. We love the idea behind the restuarant, eat what is in season for the best taste in your food and the ideal freshness and nutrients! Looking over the menu there are tons of great choices but when I go out to eat I love comfort food, and entrees that I may not prepare at home. The Roasted Shrimp, Lump Crab, and Spinich Stuffed Mushrooms sound delicious. And for my main course I would choose the Oak-Grilled Filet Mignon. Thanks for highlighting such a great place.......looking forward to the drawing! Jennifer Lawrence (facebook friend)

So, if we're going with the restaurant week menu - which it looks like is the idea here - then it'll be:
ReplyDeleteApp: Spicy Chipotle Shrimp Flatbread (hubby and I will agree on this one for the spicy-ness and because I'll have nixed the grilled steak one due to my dislike of blue cheese)
Soup/Salad: Probably Mixed Greens (unless I can get a substitution on that blue cheese in the spinach salad) Hubby will have the spinach salad unless the soup is French Onion.
Entree: Salmon. I almost always get the fish when dining out somewhere fancy unless there is lamb, duck, or some really awesome steak option. Hubby will get the pork tenderloin.
Dessert: looks like the mini indulgences include a key lime pie one. Favorite.Dessert.Ever. And maybe a chocolate one. Because who can say no to chocolate? Hubby can get his own I'm not sharing. Even if this is for our anniversary (yeah, our anniversary falls that week :-D).
Yum, yum, yum. Thanks for sharing! Natalee Hill natalee.hill at gmail

ReplyDeleteCan I just go straight to the Key Lime Pie mini-indulgence? (or two!) From the Restaurant Week menu I'd choose the tenderloin w/polenta, broccoli & mushrooms, but from the regular menu I'd love to try the goat cheese ravioli - YuM!
ReplyDeleteI have been dying to try this place. Hubby and I could certainly use a night out with a new baby in the house. I would start with the Grilled Sesame Chicken Skewers and then have the Meditteranean Shrimp Salad. Of course, we'd have to try a mini indulgence.
