Makin’ Music for Families-Discount Code!

I had an opportunity to view the new Makin' Music for Families DVD at the Makin' Music Rockin' Rythems campus a few weeks ago.  My first thought, "I wish this had been around when my kids were younger!"

The DVD is basically, a Makin' Music class that can be done at home. The video shows actual parents & kids taking part in a class, with instructions from the teachers & information for parents (grandparents, caregivers, etc) so you can really help your child enjoy the musical experience!

There are lesson plans, craft instructions so you can make your own musical instruments & so much more. This is such a great gift to give a child who doesn't need another toy! (At home day cares, working parents, grandparents, etc can also benefit from the program being done at your convenience.)  The price of the DVD is $14.99 and Makin' Music is hoping to start a monthly subscription program sooner than later.

Toy Story 3 & Makin Music at Thornbury Park

Friday Movie at the Park, August 26. Educate and enrich the children with a Makin’ Music concert (6:00pm) in the pavilion. Then bring the kids over to the field and laugh with all the classic toys in Toy Story 3! (Dusk) Refreshments provided.

Makin' Music Open House, April 24

When: Sat, Apr 24 11:00 AM – 03:00 PM

Join us for a Hillwood Farm Open House! In the Barn, Makin’ Music will have singing, face painting, crafts and balloons. Come learn all about our classes and camps. In the Farmhouse you can meet the folks from Soul Source and find out about their offerings, including massages, yoga, mediation, and gardening. Up in the Cottage, you can meet the Rockdale teachers and find out more about lessons, Rock Bands, and Rock Camps and hear some great live performances. And Advanced Engineering, Inc. (AEI) will be offering tours of the barn–learn more about the history and architecture of this great property. Hope you can join us!
