Philly Thanksgiving Day Parade

Metered parking is free on Thanksgiving...but there are going to be many no parking areas due to the parade.  When my family went a few years ago, we took the train.

Things to know:

• The parade starts at 20th & JFK Boulevard (see the map below for details)
• Bring blankets to sit on & hot drinks because it's cold.  
• Parents might want to consider putting their younger kids in snow suits to keep them warm!

• Rain or shine, there are a lot of people...so be prepared for things to take a little longer
