Alice in Wonderland at the Media Theatre-Review

My children and I were recently guests at the Media Theatre to watch the current show in the 2012-2013 Children's Series, Alice in Wonderland.

My children love to watch shows & go to the theatre, they always have-and even better with Alice in Wonderland, my daughter had a friend in the play but we didn't know that until we were there!  They loved Alice in Wonderland.  The characters were fun, colorful and to be honest, these kids could sing!  (I'm totally jealous of their skills!!!).  The play wasn't too long either, so they didn't feel like it was dragging on & they paid attention the entire time.

The cast invited a few children up on the state at one point to help with the show and that added to the humor of  it...they adults in the show had to improvise on a few of the choices from children in the audience & it was hysterical.

Also, did you know that The Media Theatre is a non-profit organization and is the only professional theatre in Delaware County?  I had no idea, but while sitting in the theatre, it was fantastic to look around the room at the ornate ceiling and it was amazing we have something like this so close to home!

My children had a wonderful experience, it was easy to park, we went right in and it was close to home.  They're really looking forward to seeing 101 Dalmatians in a few months!

Alice in Wonderland is showing on weekends now through March 2nd.  To purchase tickets or find out more about the Media Theatre click HERE.  See you at a show!

I received complimentary tickets to facilitate this review, as always the opinions are mine & are not influenced by The Media Theatre.

Just Dance 4 Review!

We recently received Just Dance 4 from my friends at Ubisoft---while ultimately the game was headed to our elementary school for gym class, we couldn't resist trying it out for a few days first!

Hurricane winds were crazy but we were inside
playing games!

So here is our review....WE LOVED IT!!!  All four of us....even my husband got in on the action!  We liked that there were a variety of songs (though we didn't/wouldn't let our kids do all the songs) they had popular songs like Call Me Maybe & What Makes You Beautiful that my 9 year old daughter loved.  My personal favorite was Good Feeling by Flo Rida! There were also older songs that were easier enough for my 5 year old to keep up.  Everyone was out of breath & moving around---perfect during a hurricane when we couldn't get outside.  It was also fun to just watch each other dance---FYI, I'm not that good at dancing!

Since I'm not a tech blogger, I'm not going to get all "gamey" on anyone, but it was just an overall fun game for the entire family!  From the UbiSoft website though, "Just Dance 4 has over 40 new songs ranging from current Billboard hits to legendary favorites." Overall, this was a really fun family game that everyone enjoyed!

Have you tried this game yet? Let us know what you thought in the comments.   In my opinion, this game should defiantly be on the top of any holiday list!
