Everyone sees the cute pictures with kids finger prints or feet or hands...it's endless really. My dog wanted in on some of this holiday gift giving action but what can you do for your dog? Use a little paw pad like a finger & voila-instant holiday fun ;)We did this with Ava last Christmas and wrote Ava's First Christmas 2011 on the other side. It doesn't hurt that Ava is a good sport....and falls asleep at the drop of a hat!
Purchase any color ornament you want and brown, non-toxic paint. Apply brown paint to the child/dogs thumb/pad generously, then press gently onto ornament. Use a permanent marker & red puffy paint to complete this project AFTER the paint dries...seems obvious to me but just in case. Wet paper towel easily wipes thumb/paw pad.
The original ornament came from Pinterest---and of course hers didn't smear. But I bet she used her own thumb, not her dogs!
