Hi friends!  We've put together a list of fantastic local people & resources to help you find great options for holiday shopping right in your back yard.  There are so many great option, this list only scratches the surface!  Helping local businesses and people is always good for Delaware County!  I encourage you to look around close to home to find unique gifts that the people in your life would like to receive!

For the person on your list who has everything, consider making a donation!  Donations to local charties such as Kisses for Kyle,  Cradles to Crayons, Delaware County SPCA and Philabundance also stay local and help people in need who might be our neighbors & friends!  

My First Blue Rocks Game

The following was written by my 7.5 year old, who went to a Blue Rocks game with her dad, brother & grandmom.


At the Blue Rocks game, the parking was free! Can you believe it? It was funny when the principal did push-ups. He did a lot of push-ups.

There was a moon bounce and a game that you have to a grand slam, an out, a home run or a strike out. It was fun. A clown was there and he made balloon animals. I got a cat and my brother got a frog.

The popcorn came in a huge helmet and they gave you refills. The helmet was too big for my dad! We also got Dip-n-Dots and they came in a little helmet. I got cookie dough and my brother got rainbow ice. My brother's tasted like water ice.

We saw parts of 2 games and the Blue Rock won two times against the same team!

We had really great seats and it was so much fun.

Buy one ticket, get one free from KRAFT Singles with purchase. Bring your package wrapper (note, wrapper, not the cheese!)to a Blue Rocks game on Tuesdays for a steal of a deal! There more teams than just the Blue Rocks participating, I just checked them out because they are close to Delco.

A great way to introduce your family to baseball is heading to a minor league game...way cheaper (you can get a ticket for as low as $6) than going to the Phillies and Blue Rocks Games are geared towards families.

Post-Game Fireworks-April 16th
Join us Friday, April 16th at 7:05pm for Opening Night with a 2010 Magnet Schedule Giveaway for the first 5,000 fans, courtesy of Delaware National Bank, and stick around for our Post-Game Fireworks show. Gates open at 6pm.
